About Me

My story starts in Venezuela, where I lived for 32 years. Now, my husband and I are starting a new adventure together in this beautiful country!

Hi There! I’m Yissel Landaeta

I was born in Barinas, Venezuela.

Barinas state is one of the 23 states of Venezuela. The state capital is Barinas and it’s a city in the west central of the country known as the capital of The Llanos.

There I grow up and was raised in a loving and united family. I’m the third of 4 brothers.

Saint Mary University (Spanish: Universidad Santa Maria)

Established in 1953, Universidad Santa Maria, is a private higher education institution that has campuses in several cities, such as Caracas – Venezuela’s capital.

In 2008, I moved to Caracas to finish the career that I have already started in 2005 on Santa Maria’s campus in Barinas. In 2010 I got a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Who am I?

Three words. A short question. But normally not easy to answer.

I am a woman that has been trying to find peace and happiness wherever I am. I do my best to improve myself. My current definition of success is being able to walk into the uncertainty being present and in peace.

What do I love to do?

I love seating on my balcony early in the morning and reading a book under the sun. A book is a perfect gift always! I love to discover a new story in every book, it’s my mind flying on every word. I also enjoy doing puzzles and coloring my drawings. Going outside on a beautiful afternoon with my husband and drinking a couple of beers is always a perfect plan!

What am I looking for?

A new path. Strengthening my skills to achieve a new level in my career.

What we want uses to change throughout our lives depends on our mindset, beliefs, and environment. Right now, I am focused on expanding and strengthening my knowledge and skills to expand my range of opportunities, while enjoying the process and facing my fears.
